Washington County Local is a website highlighting locally owned businesses in and around Washington County, Oregon for the purpose of promoting and supporting local businesses in our community.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Washington County Local ("the Site"), operated by Wolff & Co ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By providing your phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from Washington County Local, you agree to receive recurring text messages related to your interactions with us. These messages may include:

2.1 Featured Businesses

Washington County Local features locally-owned businesses that have been personally vetted and invited to join our community. Being featured on the Site:

• Does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of quality
• Does not create any partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between us and the business
• May be modified, suspended, or removed at our sole discretion at any time
• Is subject to the business maintaining accurate information and upholding community standards

2.2 Business Information

• Businesses are primarily responsible for maintaining current and accurate information
• We are not liable for outdated contact details, hours, services, prices, or availability

• Business information may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update it immediately
• We make reasonable efforts to ensure information accuracy but cannot guarantee it

2.3 Reviews and Testimonials

Customer reviews displayed on the Site are sourced from Google Business Profiles and other public sources:

• Avoid repetitive self-promotion or spam
• Not post offensive language, harassment, or discriminatory content

3.2 Community Rules

To keep our community helpful and engaging, please follow these rules:

1. Stay Relevant: Share posts such as local tips, events, referrals, and recommendations
2. No Spam or Irrelevant Links: Avoid excessive self-promotion or posting unrelated content
3. Be Respectful: Offensive language or behavior won't be tolerated
4. Use the Right Space: Post in the appropriate space to keep content organized
5. Follow Promotion Limits: Business promotions are allowed, but must provide value. No repetitive self-promotion

3.3 Three-Strikes Policy

Violations of community guidelines may result in:

1. First violation: Warning and explanation of the issue
2. Second violation: Temporary posting restriction (typically 7-30 days)
3. Third violation: Permanent removal from the community

We reserve the right to skip warnings and immediately remove users for serious violations including harassment, hate speech, illegal content, or threats.

3.4 Content Moderation

• Your content may be rejected, edited, moderated, removed, or deleted at our absolute discretion
• Posts that violate these Terms may be removed without notice
• We strive to moderate fairly but cannot review all submissions in real-time
• By submitting content, you agree that you are happy for it to be used as set out in these Terms

4. Your Content

4.1 Submitting Content

When you submit content to the Site (comments, posts, images, reviews, business information):

• You retain ownership of your content
